Dumfriesshire MP David Mundell was at Annan Academy on Friday as he tackled a series of tough questions from pupils at the school.
No topic was off limit as the pupils quizzed their Westminster representative and the Secretary of State for Scotland on a number of issues of the day.
Commenting on the visit, David Mundell MP said: “I thoroughly enjoyed my visit to Annan Academy and I was certainly put through my paces by the pupils.
“They had a series of tough questions and no questions were off limit which I think gave them a great insight into my opinions on a wide range of topics which is exactly why I enjoy visiting schools in my constituency.
“The pupils had a fantastic knowledge of politics and I have always said it is very important to engage our youngsters from an early age in the political process which has become even more important at the moment.
“I hope to be able to come back soon to tackle questions from more pupils at Annan Academy."
